Dr. Phil Show Tonight……..single Mother And Teen Son, And Single Mother Who Favors Middle Son?

I was just wondering how everyone felt about a couple of issues concerning the show tonight…….#1 do you think that the woman who was sent to rehab should be sent so far away from her teen son, even though she has issues with alcohol, doesn’t he still need her to be around in some capasity? maybe she could get help more locally? and dr. phil just doesn’t get at all that “maybe” she does drink because her son is driving her crazy, he is so angry, and violent, punching holes in walls and now they have to vacate their home…because of damage…dr. phil did not suggest any help for him at all…anger management? counseling? something?…. I feel so sorry for the 14 year old boy from the single mom with the three kids, where she favors her middle child..the baby still has a chance……..any input? just wondering what people thought about the show tonight………….

I would like to point out that the mother does not drink BECAUSE of her son….she chooses drink as a means of coping with her life. My best guess is that she drank before her son began acting out. He may be responding to the situation at home. I dont know, really. His behavior is NOT acceptable either but there IS hope for this family. It comes in the form of AA for the mom and Al-a-teen for the kids…all of them..not just the one acting out with violence. Good question.

Please don’t watch Dr. Phil, he’s in it for the money…he is confused…someone like that cannot give authentic advice.
