Question by Victor: Is beer a realistic treatment for chronic alcoholism?
I’ve noticed over my 20 year drinking career that most major problems related to alcohol occur when hard liquor is involved. If I drink only beer, life stays under control. Also, people I’ve known who died or got into car wrecks because of alcohol… all were drinking liquor.

Seems like professional counselors could legitimately recommend that a treatment program involve beer, but absolutely no liquor.

  1. CP says:

If you are really an alcoholic, than Beer is no good. Anything that has alcohol has to go down the drain.

While it certainly takes longer to get drunk on beer, and its easier to stay under your limit, but alchoholics are just going to keep drinking and end up with the same results because they have a serious problem with drinking.
