Can Cigarettes And Alcohol Consumption Cause Anxiety?
Posted by: Alan in Alcohol Counseling, tags: Alcohol, Anxiety, Cause, Cigarettes, Consumption
Do they lower your seratonin levels? I only drink on the weekends but I usually drink too much about one weekend night per week. I have noticed anxiety symptoms to be getting worse. I thought I had it under control after extensive counseling but now it’s getting worse. I do not want to ever relive that experience. Could my bad habits be the problem? What should I do?

alcohol is a depressent and if you dont get alot of sleep after the one weekend night of going out it will lower your serentonin levels as well. So maybe keep the drinking to once a month. I feel your pain I also have the same problem, I feel good now and never want to go back to that hole. have you ever tried deep breathing? the kind of deep breath where you go from the belly all the way to the chest, wow that really works! like an orgasm..lol not really , good thought though
