I think it depends on what type of counseling you want to go into. I also want to get my master’s in counseling, I became especially sure of this after volunteering with a children’s program at a shelter for victims of domestic violence. I’d recommend doing something that you feel especially drawn to or find interesting. Or is you have no idea, try out a few different things.
