Question by maximus: Dads, did you stop drinking alcohol, beer, when you had your first baby?
I myself used to drink almost every weekend. But now that I had my baby girl, I stoped drinking just all of the sudden. It’s been more than 2 months now and I don’t really have the craving to drink anymore, or at least for now anyway. I kind of don’t mind it, because I save alot more money. I was just wondering if there are some people out there that has experience the same thing?

If you actually like the taste of beer that much, then go ahead.
You could also have coke without the rum.
Cranberry without the vodka.
Virgin daiquiri’s of all sorts….
You get the idea.

It isn’t about the quantity of beer – it’s about the effects. If your dad drinks to change reality or to feed an addiction, that can be abuse.

There’s no set number of units of alcohol someone needs to drink for it to be abuse.
