Question by randomguy: what are the effects of sodium, caffeine, and alcohol on the calcium levels in the body?
help me please?
Best answer:
Answer by just ashley.
I know that if you drink too much water (i.e., dilute sodium in the blood), your kidneys will also excrete more calcium, leading to a deficiency in calcium.
Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, which means that it makes blood vessels constrict, causting more fluids to go to the kidneys–making one urinate more; which means another way to calcium deficiency.
Alcohol is also a vasoconstrictor. See caffeine.

Question by Clint R: How quickly does the average body overcome the effects of alcohol?
I know that the average body breaks alcohol down 1 drink per hour, but if I drink a 12 pack in 6 hours, I feel very drunk after the 12th beer compared to how I felt after the second beer. So what does the body break alcohol down into, and how long does it take for the average body to get the counterparts of alcohol of its system?
Best answer:
Answer by Shadow
on average, the human body breaks down alcohol at a rate of about one beer an hour. Also this equals about one shot of liqueur an hour.
