Question by READ DEES NIKES: Why do police departments continue to overlook police alcoholism when 63% of all cops are Alcoholics…why?
Departments need to help their officer because an alcoholic cops has no business carrying a gun…I know a police officer whom drank on duty and was warned harshly by his superiors that if he was ever caught again intoxicated on duty he was fired…..so he didnt quit drinking….while on duty he drinks listerine mouth wash instead of distilled alcohol…..it sad

every single cop knows at least one cop that is an alcoholic and should not be carrying a gun
