Question by : Is it ok to drink alcohol while on probation for a non alcohol related violation for disorderly conduct?
Basically the terms of the probation didn’t say anything about refraining from alcohol just not to get re-arrested for any violation and to attend counseling sessions. I am not that much of a drinker anyway though, so I don’t think it would be much of an issue to have a beer on occasion

It would be a risk to drink in public, so if you want a beer then do it at home.

Question by AVGVSTVS: What will happen if I drink alcohol while on antibiotic treatment?
I have been taking Ciproxin XR (Ciprofloxacin, antibiotic) for about 10 days. My doctor said that the treatment (urinary tract infection) will last 21 days overall.
I am invited to a beer marketing event (dinner+drink as many beer as you like). What will happen if I drink 500 ml of beer?

While not recommended, Cipro is one of the few antibiotics where untoward effects are less likely to be encountered if you have a drink or two.

Question by : How come when I drink alcoholic beverages I cannot taste anything other than alcohol?
I’ve been drinking for two years now and as much as I want to drink with my friends I simply cannot stand the taste of alcohol. But every time I tell them I can’t taste the berries in the wine or the taste of whiskey they just give me this weird look. Every alcoholic beverage tastes exactly the same to me: burning alcohol. There should be differences between liquor and wine, the taste of whiskey in comparison to gin but I simply cannot tell them apart.

You probably just don’t like alcohol. Maybe try mixing your own drinks that way you can control how much liquor goes in your drink.

Question by Monica: What is a good non-alcoholic drink to serve with dessert?
I am trying to find a good recipe for a non-alcoholic beverage to serve with dessert. I would like something to complement the sweetness of all the treats we will be having. We are serving coffee, but not everyone likes coffee. I would like to find a recipe for a cold beverage. Any ideas?
