Question by Ben: If you are on antibiotics and you drank alcohol, what effect does it have on your body?
I am a 16 year old girl with who can handle quite a lot of alcohol. I am currently on antibiotics because my wisdom teeth are coming out and I have to have them removed but until then I have to be on the antibiotics. Last night when I went out I only had two and a half drinks. Which normally doesnt affect me at all but I felt so out of it last night. Does the antibiotics that I took have anything to do with it?

Question by : How does alcohol effect you in a hot tub?
Does alcohol have a different or faster effect on your body if your body temperature is higher? My friends and I were partying in a hot tub and we seemed to get more of an effect from the alcohol than those in the pool. Is is safe to drink in a hot tub?
btw I know it probably wasn’t the best idea to be drinking while swimming so don’t judge

You should always be careful when drinking in a hot tub but if you drink then you should know that alcohol acts to expand your blood vessels and increase your body temperature- much like soaking in hot water does. Alcohol in your bloodstream and soaking at the same time creates a combined effect that can be damaging. The body temperature may accelerate to dangerous levels quickly. The alcohol may cause nausea, dizziness or lightheadedness. The ultimate danger of combined alcohol consumption and hot water soaking is drowning due to loss of consciousness, heart attack or injury due to passing out and falling. Don’t stop having fun but don’t be stupid and know that facts!

Question by Hooded Ikerus: Lifestyle Choice: Short term effect on body functioning from the use of drugs?
Hi, I’m doing a Human Bio report and I need a little more information on the subject I’m doing. Does anyone have any information on what the use of drugs (including alcohol and smoking) would effect your body function in the short term, the effect on your future health, and individual differences.
If anyone has any information, I really appreciate it
Thank you!
