Basically none.
This is clearly a personal problem, and while the impact on the individual is very high from a health viewpoint, the overall issue is null for society.

Does anyone have any experience with this newer treatment. It is based on replenishing lacking brain chemicals which are causing a “reward deficiency” . The Amino acids are given either through IV or orally. Is this medically accepted? More importantly does it work to prevent relapses? Thanks!

My spouse and I have been celibate for 5 months. We are going to get a divorce in January, but found out she was pregnant a week before I was moving out. We had a lot of bad financial news earlier this year and I made up the $30,000 projected deficit.
I want to leave, but it is clear I can not because she has a drinking problem and has been gasoline fumes to get high. She actually hid a cup of gasoline in the bedroom. I spent 3 days trying to find the source. She also likes to light matches to smell them, which I confiscate on sight. I am very worried about wat would happen if I left her at this point. On top of that, I still need more time to get the money to do it.
I locked up all of the alcohol and took the gasoline to my neighbors house. Advised her to seek counseling or I was going to report her to family services. Any suggestions on anything else I can do?
