im having a blood test on monday. will drinking today affect it??

Yes, the BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) will not completely be diminished. If it is for the police or for a medical condition they will be able to detect small ammounts of alcohol.

Question by Jo: how long does it take to detox a 189lbs man from alcohol?
If he had consummed 26 ounces of liquer, how many hours does it take so there would be no alcohol in him anymore?

Best answer:

Answer by Gregory W
From my understanding, the body disposes of one ounce of liquor in one hour. The liver is what cleanses the body from the alcohol, so therefore I don’t believe that it matters how much a man weighs when it comes to ridding the body of the alcohol. When asking about liquor – it would depend upon what alcohol proof the liquor was.
If the 26 ounces of liquor was pure alcohol, then by theory it would take about 26 hours to get rid of the alcohol. If this was a once in a while binge, then I would probably say that this man would be drunk the next morning and he would be wise not to go to work. From personal experience, I would say that it would take a good three days to recover from this kind of binge. That is, to go to work feeling 100%
A habitual drinker though, I believe that the detox process can take as many as 14 days.
In conclusion, the detox period depends upon how much of a habitual drinker this person is.

Question by xandra: Have ever you try alcohol withdrawal symptoms? Do anyone know how long it takes to recover?
I had drink a plenty of red wine every night for a year? Then I day I stoped and suddenly the second day I started to have insomnia. Almost 3 months. I try valerian and melatonin only sometimes works. Now I still don’t know the reason that I can’t sleep well because when I don’t need to work next day I sleep better. Maybe job stress.
Don’t say to me I need 18 months to recover.

Question by Alfadi: For how long a non alcoholic malt beverage can be validated after its expiry date?
I’ve just bought a non alcoholic malt beverage, 4 dozens of cans, and then I’ve found out that its expiry date has passed 10 days ago. I don’t wanna to return them, because of its unique taste, and they are the last ones of their kind in market. Is it possible to drink them after all? And for how long? Under what conditions?
