Well It would depend on where you are located. You can always look in the begining of the phone book under drug abuse and call their hotline for information. Do you live in California?

I am looking for some drug and alcohol treatment centers in California to volunteer for. First I am 19 going into my second year of college and want to volunteer at one because I am very interested in the field and guiding my way in that direction. The issue is I am having a hard time finding treatment centers in California (actually in southern California). I have been searching the internet for a while and all I can find are outpatient clinics. Thanks for the help!

I’ve never heard of a resident treatment center involving volunteers – it’s so much investment in training that it’s just not worth it to spend that on a volunteer who will only be around for a few months.

I would like informatin on drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers for a mother who would like her three month old child with her. Any listings for California and possibly the closest to Redding California. It is not a court ordered situation just a person wanting rehabilitation and to find her right path in life.She is a Native American Indian so if there are Native American Indian Rehabs we would like that information also.

Contact Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth Minnesota. They are first to none for treatment.

i’m in recovery with 9 months sober. I’m active in A.A. Me and my friends are going to Panama City Beach for spring break. They know my situation and have agreed not to drink. What i’m looking for is any good points or insight to help me share with my probation officer of why i can go and not relapse. i have alot already but i would like to hear others opinion. Thankss

They won’t let you go and 9 months in, you shouldn’t. The temptation will just be too high and who the hell goes to spring break and doesn’t drink. It would suck, call your sponsor and talk about it.
