Question by : Anyone have a counseling template for a Soldier going over their monthly rations?
Im in Korea and we get rations for alcohol and my Soldier went over and needs to be counseled and I have never had to counsel for this before. Does anyone have a template?

Here is the problem. How can a Soldier go over his ration limit? He really can’t. He runs out and then he can’t buy anymore. If he has a buddy who doesn’t drink use his ration coupons to buy for him he still hasn’t broken a regulation. Now, does he have a drinking problem that interferes with her work? That is a whole different problem and you would probably be better served going to see a representative from the hospital or clinic to get advice on this. Good luck!

Question by annie lk: How can I start over after going through inpatient alcohol rehabilitation?
All the friends I have are those that are in rehab, and all the friends I had before I entered that place were my alcoholic friends. They’ve been trying to get in touch with me but I feel that it would only do me worse rather than good since I might be tempted to drink alcoholic beverages again. I don’t want to be friendless, though. What can I do?

You have made a good decision in not going back out with your old friends.
The only solution that I have seen work for the long term is to join a 12 step program specifically for you AA.

Question by Randomuser: Do you get more resistant to the effects of alcohol over time the more alcohol you drink?
I don’t mean in 1 day…i mean like you drink 1 day and get drunk off 5 cans, does your body get resistant to the effects of alcohol and it might take you 6 cans to get you drunk later on in time?

Question by fakeflowers: I stopped drinking alcohol over a year ago. I’m no longer in a treatment program that does random testing?
How can I arrange for random alcohol testing? Through my family doctor? Private clinic. I’m willing to pay. I’m no longer eligible for the random testing in the treatment program because of the length of my sobriety. I would like the random testing to keep my difficult ex-husband assured and perhaps to give me another year of “babysitting” though I do go to AA frequently and am feeling great about my sobriety.
I am in aftercare and can be as long as I choose but they no longer test.

First off Congrats… You have made it farther than most do… and I respect you for that..
For random testing yes any clinic should be able to do it for you… But of course there will be a charge…
Good Luck and best wishes to you.
