Question by BigBuds: Help quit weed having problems?
I have been smoking weed a few times a week for the past 3 years. I have noticed some negative effects on my short term memory. (It might just be in my head, but it is minor if anything). I go to the gym regularly so I am in great physical shape, that is not a problem. Three months ago weed started giving me weird pressure in my head. Sometimes i get the pressure even when im not high. I hear the pressure is anxiety related, i took valium before smoking once, didnt help. I am on a lot of medications. For ocd, depression, gad, social anxiety, low thyroid, adhd, and bipolar disorder. They keep changing my meds so nothing is steady right now except straterra, prestiq, seroquel, and some new one they added yesterday dont know the name yet. I quit smoking weed, no withdrawal. But I feel the need to get high. I started using valium, percocet, and xanax to get high. I still get the pressure sometimes in my head. The pressure is sometimes in my nose, one side of my head, top of my head, forhead. It is not sinuses. The pressure spot moves around when im high on weed. How can i get this pressure to go away so I can smoke weed and quit using these other drugs. I can not drink alcohol as i have horrible side effects with my medications. I REFUSE to live a sober life. I have been on drug treatment programs so dont reccomend that. Useless unless you want to quit.

It sounds like you are going to have to deal with these side effects until your habits of getting high finally corrode your brain and nervous system enough that you die. Expect a long, painful trip until then because honestly the only way to possibly correct the problem would be to quit while you still can.

Question by Vix: Can you get kidney problems from alcohol abuse?
I posted this before but due to lack of answers I think I may of put it in the wrong category, so I’ll try again.

I’m staying with a friend who has an alcohol problem, and I’ve noticed she very rarely urinates, which is weird in itself and also complains about backpain and I’m just worried she’s messing up her kidneys with the alcohol abuse, am I right or does it sound like something else?

other than having the heightened risk of becoming a alcoholic, there are also the associated risks with alcohol, like liver problems. there might be risks of depression due to the predisposition.
