I would think drug and alcohol counseling would be your best choice unless you have experience and skills you did not list.

I know that whatever i do in my life I want to be doing some kind of counseling.
Lately I’ve been thinking about becoming a social worker, but what exactly does a social worker do? Are there different types of Social Workers, if so, what are they?
I have a dislike for the whole foster care system, and I guess part of me thinks I could be some kind of Hero though I suppose that might not be realistic.
I’ve also thought about being a drug and alcohol therapist, family counselor…basically any kind of counseling. I’m assuming this can complicate things and keep me in school for many more years if I have to keep studying different fields. So my (last!) question is, knowing just that little bit about me, what fields of psychology would you recommend? I like working with kids, I want to be a counselor however I still want to work with more “hard hitting” stuff like prisoners, and drugs and alcohol abuse.
I apologize for the amount of questions, just answer whichever you can. Thanks
