Question by adina s: I need to find alcohol rehabs in Clementon, New Jersey. Suggestions?
I need to find alcohol rehabilitation centers for my dad. He’s in Clementon, which is so far away from where I am. I have only just gotten wind of the news that he’s now suffering from alcoholism. I don’t know what to do. He’s asking for my help and the only thing I could think of is that he has to get himself treated. I don’t know how to find alcohol rehabs, though.

Finding alcohol rehabs is fairly easy. The links below will be able to help you out. You can also ask your dad to get recommendations from doctors or healthcare providers. Just keep on getting in touch with him. Talk to him on the phone or send him encouraging messages. This might just be little things, but your moral support will help him get by. I do hope he recovers soon.

Check out the links that I have included below. They will be able to help you in your search. You can also call this helpline: 800-559-9503. The people on the other end of the line will be able to answer your queries and point you in the direction of an alcohol rehab in your friend’s area. Good luck!

Question by dork: how to help alcoholism. Any suggestions on a pacifier?
My fiance has realized he needs to stop drinking clean for 7 days anything that can replace it has done well in social settings so far yet needs something to replace it .

Answer by ReggieR
The best answer to you question is for you fiance to go to 12 Step Meetings. IF he replaces alcohol with another drugs, he will just have another addiction. At AA they will teach him how to stay clean one day at a time and not to lean on other things instead of the alcohol. It is very difficult at first being in recovery and going without alcohol but with time and support it will be easier for him. There are Alanoun meetings for you so you don’t enable him into going back to drinking. If you have more questions please feel free to read my profile and email or IM me. God Bless ReggieR
