Alcoholism Recovery & Treatment

Question by Jenk: Are some people more susceptible to alcoholism?
I feel like I am. I’m only 16, I’ve been drunk once, but lately all I can think about is drinking. I’m not the partying/crazy type, but for some reason I want alcohol a lot. There are a few alcoholics in my family, and nearly everyone (even those underage) drinks at least a little. Do you think this type of thing runs in the family? Is there any sort of evidence that suggests it?

Uh, yes it absolutely runs in families. If you have a parent/grandparent with alcoholism you are much more likely to become one yourself.
Seriously, I’ve seen this stuff first hand.
You don’t want that.
Try to stay away from it.
