Question by addict: are there any alcohol rehab centres in dubai?what are their names?

Best answer:

Answer by ratboy
Wow, I scoured the web and couldn’t find anything. A local Dubai phone book, or international information may be your best bet.

Good luck.

Question by : Anyone have a counseling template for a Soldier going over their monthly rations?
Im in Korea and we get rations for alcohol and my Soldier went over and needs to be counseled and I have never had to counsel for this before. Does anyone have a template?

Best answer:

Answer by majgross
Here is the problem. How can a Soldier go over his ration limit? He really can’t. He runs out and then he can’t buy anymore. If he has a buddy who doesn’t drink use his ration coupons to buy for him he still hasn’t broken a regulation. Now, does he have a drinking problem that interferes with her work? That is a whole different problem and you would probably be better served going to see a representative from the hospital or clinic to get advice on this. Good luck!

Question by C.G.: Why do so many people here think their hangovers are “alcohol poisoning”?
I’ve seen multiple questions today of people typing out long questions claiming they must have alcohol poisoning. All their symptoms are just classic hangover symptoms. Why don’t people realize if they have alcohol poisoning if they’re not unconscious they will be close to it and they will be in the hospital getting their stomach pumped? There is HUGE difference…
I read one today that was like “Should I go to the hospital and get my stomach pumped? I threw up a few times”

*Rolls eyes*

Question by forjesus: I need to know the location of a treatment center that require addicts to work to pay for their treatment.?
I am searching for an inpatient drug/alcohol treatment center/program that requires the client with no-insurance or other assistance to work a job within the treatment program itself to pay for the treatment they need. If you choose to answer please leave a website address or information on the program. Thank You!

What you are looking for are halfways or three quater houses. From what I know personally about these – I dont know if I would recommend them. Here in Detroit, and in nearby Pontiac there are all sorts of them – and they are difficult to stay clean in because many of the residents are getting high there – that part about working only gives them a chance to a) leave the premises with b) the money that they have access to…

In either case, look in your phone book under “community mental health” – they will be able to point you in the right direction.
Good Luck

Question by john: Compare drug abuse and alcoholism, are their patterns of use related?

Best answer:

Answer by BDoug
They are very similar, since both are just different flavors of addiction. Even a compulsive gambler at a slot machine exhibits brain activity like that of a drug addict getting high.
