Question by sugar.spyce: What kind of alcoholic beverages go well with the following dishes?
For example: red wine complements steak, i know that.
Likewise what kind of alcoholic beverages go well with the following (cooked in different ways)?

Fish & Seafood
Red meats
Chicken
Pasta dishes
Salads
+ add more if you wish.

I am no alcoholic, but occasionally when I go to a nice I do want to order something that goes well with the main dish…
Also, I love mixed drinks. Martinis, bellinis, mojito, etc…

Red wine is good for all of them. You can go for white as well with fish and the salads.

Hi Everyone,
Alcoholics Anonymous (”AA”, spiritual), Rational Recovery (”RR”, cognitive), SMART (cognitive), Save Ourselves (”SOS”, cognitive) and other alcohol recovery programs all claim varying levels of success in helping alcoholics on the road to recovery. However, there is a lot of controversy surrounding their claims, as even a quick search on the internet will reveal. Viewing this chaos of opinions from “outside the box”, it certainly seems as though they’re all blowing smoke. Anecdotal arguments are used, tabloid-style quotations are touted as being authentic, and “my way or the highway” rationalizing is often used. One thing they all have in common is that apparently none of them has a handle on real statistics (though I could be wrong here; I just haven’t found any). In addition, independent studies (NIAA, Dawson) have shown that these programs are no more successful than no program at all. What’s your opion? Do one or more of these programs work better than nothing?

I think any recovery program works only as well as the time & persistance the addict puts into staying clean.

Alrighty, so I’m 19 years old and I’m a dude. A couple years back I was doing a lot of drugs….Mostly pot and alcohol. My parents did some family counseling to “set me straight” they mentioned something about how I wouldn’t really be able to get anyone pregnant. They’ve mentioned here and there somethings “special” about me. But I’m not a retard. ..And on my 18th birthday my dad said “I have something to tell you….But I’m gonna wait till your 21.” I have a vague memory of them dressing me up like a girl when I was little for a day and I cried about it. This is pretty serious to me….What classifies a transexual? I mean….I have a penis and pubic hair and some facial hair and I’m 6′2 I have pretty big muscles and an adams apple. And I’m straight. There was one more thing…I asked my dad for some condoms when I was 16 and he said I probably don’t need them. I look and act like a dude and I have the right stuff down there… So what the **** are they talking about?
