I was arrested in Pennsylvania for DUI, underage drinking, and possession of a small amount of marijuana last October. I was placed on probation in April. I live in New York and my probation officer said that since I was in treatment (drug and alcohol counseling was one of my requirements to get back into school), not to worry about probation until I got back to school (in Pennsylvania).
Well, I finished my counseling here in New York and have about a month and a half until I go back to school and into the jurisdiction of my probation office, which means that I am not getting drug tested until I either go back or they transfer it over.
Is there a good chance that they will transfer jurisdiction to New York even with such a short amount of time left until I’m back in Pennsylvania?

I’ve been on probation for six months now, half of my probation sentence for a dui, and I’m just wondering how often my color will be called for random screening, and how to go about getting my probation mitigated.
The reason I’m asking is not because I’m worried about passing the tests, but because it costs me a lot of lost time at work to take them. And I’m the sole provider for my son, so every hour counts.
I started the probation six months ago, and I had to do drug and alcohol counseling, as well as an assessment to determine my addiction level. When the assessment came back with the results saying that I needed no further treatment, my P.O. got pissed, and decided to assign me a color for random testing. This woman has not liked me from the moment I set foot in her office. She threatened to lock me up for V.O.P. when she found out I was taking cough syrup, for a cold, and I wasn’t sure if it contained alcohol. I’ve never been in any trouble with the law before, so if I don’t understand what she’s talking about and ask her a question, I get bitched at and threatened some more.
I have all my fines paid off, I’ve satisfied everything the court has asked of me, except the last six months of this probation. That is why I’m curious how to go about mitigating it.

So during beach week in Ocean City I was arrested for possession of marijuana. My family has hired a good lawyer and I am receiving counseling for it, so I assume that it is very likely I will receive probation before judgment. I am aware of what the consequences will be if I get caught with marijuana again, and I have quit. I also received an alcohol citation the same night I got arrested for possession. I am aware that If I get anything else added to my record before the trial, then I may not get probation before judgment. My question though is once I get probation, what exactly can and will bring the marijuana possession charges back. Will something like an alcohol citation? I want to drink in college I just want to know just how careful I have to be.
